Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does online therapy work?
Before each scheduled session you will receive a link via email for either Google Meet or Zoom.
  • Do you offer in-person sessions?
Not at this time, but hopefully in the future!
  • What are your fees?
    $160 per session (including tax)
  • Where are you located?
I live in Milton, Ontario (just west of Toronto). All sessions with me are remote and conducted via Google Meet or Zoom.
  • How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes long, though longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
  • What can I expect during my first session?
During our first session I'll get to know more about you and what you're struggling with. Then we work together to figure out what your goals for therapy are and how we are going to work toward them in future sessions.
  • How long do I need to be in therapy?
It depends on what you're struggling with and what your goals are. Some clients meet with me only a few times to work on a specific issue and others meet for six months or more.
  • Will you bill my insurance?
Not yet. Most extended health benefits will not allow psychotherapists to do direct billing yet, but hopefully soon!
  • Are you covered by my health benefits?
Probably. If you have a benefit for psychotherapy, sessions with me would be covered. Please be sure to check which benefits you have with your insurer before beginning sessions.
